This creative writing prompt generates a randomized sentence to apply to a character or use as a stand-alone writing prompt. You can use an existing character you’re working on, or the randomized character found further down the page.
If you include the provided character in the prompt the sentence can either be applied to that character, or the character can be a secondary component without being the character the sentence applies to.
The structure of the sentence is as follows: “Their goal is to [GOAL] because [MOTIVATION] but [CONFLICT]”, where GOAL, MOTIVATION and CONFLICT are random prompts.
